Children and Families

Children are included on the inner envelope of their parents’ invitation on the line beneath their parents’ names. Start with the oldest, followed by their siblings in order of age. For girls under 18 use “Miss” and for boys under 18 use “Master” before their names. Traditionally, children over the age of 18 should receive their own invitation.

INNER ENVELOPE

Master Jack and Miss Ellie

SINGLE ENVELOPE

The Kennedy Family
Or

Something to consider; if you do not include each child’s name, you’re implying that children are not invited. We recommend using your wedding website or additional cards to ensure if you have the event as an adults-only or children are allowed. This allows you to follow up to ensure there is no misunderstanding.
