Our process in a few easy steps!

Proposal

If you are as excited as we are about working together, let’s get a proposal that is tailored to you. Every couple is unique in their style and vision, so we will create a stationery solution to your specific needs. Start with one of our Semi-Custom Suites that reflects your style and we will work around your ideas on paper choices, embellishments and stationery requirements. Please allow 1-3 days to ensure we have gathered all information and make sure no detail is overlooked.

Design & Revisions

This is the part where we create the suite to suit your needs and style. This process takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks. Client communication is key to a quick and smooth turnaround time. We encourage our clients to try to get as many of the changes done within the first proof so that there is no delay. All Semi-Custom Designs come with three revisions and allow for minor changes of font and texts, ink colour changes and small design element changes.

Production

Once your design is perfect, we will get your invitations into print. This process generally takes anywhere from 2-5 weeks depending on requirements, assembly services (if ordered) and print processes.

Shipping

We ship internationally for some of our suites and selections. Shipping is done usually within 1-7 business days. Rush orders may be possible, but we need to ensure we can meet your deadlines prior to purchase. If you have any questions about timing, please get in touch PRIOR to your purchase.

Printing Methods

Digital Printing

Digital printing is a perfect printing method for using images on invitations. It allows for a nice smooth, flat finish on your stock. This print process can be used for envelope printing and as a more budget-friendly print option.

Foil Printing

Foil printing uses metal plates and a foil sheet to press the finished design onto your chosen stock. This is perfect for text, accents, or anything that is a lined design. If you are looking to add a touch of glass and luxury to your invitations, foil is the way to go.

Letterpress

Letterpress has different variations, but the same principle. Your design is pressed into a thick paper leaving a soft pillow-pressed indention in the stock. Blind letterpress uses no ink, and our standard letterpress can use single colour ink. We can do two-colour letterpress with bespoke designs.

blind debossing

This printing is similar to embossing, but recesses the design rather than raising it. Rather than the paper being raised in specific areas, it is indented. The process involves applying pressure to the front side of the paper and forcing the material down from the surface.

PAPER TYPES

An invitation paper selection is an important part of planning any event. Bespoke and semi-custom designs offer a unique and personalised touch to your invitations. We offer more paper stocks from some of the finest paper mills. if you don’t see something you like here, please let us know and we will be delighted to show you our extensive paper collection.

118lb Cotton

118l b Cotton comes In your choice of brilliant white or natural white and features a slightly textured finish. It is a soft, clean stock with smooth qualities. Our suites are printed on the cotton of your choice by default.

Double Thick

Double-thick is available for our cotton stock but duplexed to create a thicker paper. This is our standard with all letterpress printing. This stock will allow for a more “pressed” impression in the paper when using letterpress. We also offer double thick eggshell.

Eggshell

Eggshell paper is a type of paper that has a slightly rough texture and a soft feel. It is perfect for printing invitations and other high-end printed materials. The lack of calendaring, or smoothing, keeps the fibres pliable for page turning and a pleasant overall feel.

Handmade Paper

Handmade paper is a type of paper that is made by sifting pulp onto a screen and letting each sheet of paper dry. Handmade paper is often used in wedding invitations to add a touch of elegance and uniqueness to the design. The texture and colour of handmade paper is exquisite.
